This Privacy Policy explains how ITSecuConsult ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the ReguLight application for macOS. We believe in privacy by design. ReguLight is a local-only application. It operates entirely on your device and does not communicate with the internet. We do not track you, profile you, or collect usage data from the app.
Data Collection & App Functionality
No Data Collection by the App: ReguLight does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or analytics.
Local Processing: All data entered or processed within ReguLight remains strictly on your local Mac. It never leaves your device.
No Internet Connection: The application does not require or use an internet connection to function.
Customer Support Data
The only time we process personal data is if you voluntarily contact us for support.
What we collect: If you email us at support@regulight.eu, we will see your email address, your name (if provided), and the content of your message.
Purpose: We use this information solely to answer your questions, resolve technical issues, or improve the app based on your feedback.
Retention: Support emails are kept for a maximum of one (1) year to ensure your issue is fully resolved and for reference if you contact us again. After this period, they are permanently deleted.
Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your support contact details with any third parties.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have specific rights regarding your personal information (specifically the support data mentioned above).
GDPR (Europe) & UK: You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (your support emails), request its correction, or request its deletion ("Right to be Forgotten") before the 1-year retention period ends.
CCPA/CPRA (California & USA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. As we do not sell data, there is no need to opt-out of data sales.
